Lawn Maintenance Services for 2024 designated areas: Naples School Approximately 2.5 Acres Valley View Elementary Approximately 8.0 Acres Valley View Annex Approximately 1.0 Acres BCMS Approximately 15.0 Acres BFHS Approximately 3.0 Acres Softball Field Approximately 2.5 Acres To Include Areas: Ditch Area-In Front of High School/Areas Between Ag Shop/Softball field (hillside) West Side of Gym at Valley View and Around Bus Shop/Maintenance Shop. Front of BCMS, Baseball, Football, & Practice Fields INSURANCE: CONTRACTOR agrees to obtain and keep in force during its acts under this Agreement a comprehensive liability insurance policy in the minimum amount of $1,000,000, which shall name and protect CONTRACTOR, all CONTRACTOR s employees, DISTRICT, and its officers, agents and employees, from and against all claims, losses, actions, and judgments for damages or injury to persons or property arising out of or in connection with the CONTRACTOR s acts. CONTRACTOR shall provide proof of liability coverage as set forth above to DISTRICT prior to commencing its performance as herein provided, and require insurer to notify DISTRICT ten (10) days prior to cancellation of said policy. Additionally, said proof of liability coverage shall designate and declare DISTRICT as an additional insured. WORKER S COMPENSATION: CONTRACTOR shall maintain full force and effect worker s compensation for CONTRACTOR and any agents, employees, and staff that the CONTRACTOR may employ, and provide proof to DISTRICT of such coverage or that such worker s compensation insurance is not required under the circumstances. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS: CONTRACTOR agrees to comply with all federal, state, city, and local laws, rules and regulations. Questions regarding bid specifications are to be directed to Maintenance Supervisor Mike Smith. Mr. Smith can be reached at 208-290-1024. If there are any objections to specifications, please notify the district in writing ten (10) days prior to bid opening. It is anticipated contract will be awarded on or about April 16, 2024. No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for bid opening thereof, or before award of contract, unless award is delayed for a period exceeding thirty (30) days. The Board of Trustees of Boundary County School District #101 reserves the right to accept or reject or to select any portion thereof any or all bids, to waive any technicality and to be the sole judge of the suitability for the best interests of the District.
