B. This project will replace much of the east and south facing storefront system and windows with a more energy efficient system. The project will also include the renovation and ADA upgrades to two single use restrooms, ceiling tile replacement throughout most of the library, carpet replacement throughout most of the library, addition of interior partition walls and storefront, acoustical treatments, paint, east and south facing window coverings, a new circulation desk, and remodel of the second-floor marketing spaces and library 213 for use by the IT department. Bidders must submit Pre-Bid inquiries or clarification requests through the online portal. Pre-Bid questions or clarification requests musts be submitted no later than March 28, 2024 at 5:00 PM. Submitted Bid Proposals may be withdrawn via the PlanetBids Portal prior to the latest date/time for submitting Bid Proposals. Bid Proposals shall remain firm, binding and enforceable for sixty (60) days after the opening of Bid Proposals. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bid Proposals or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any Bid Proposal or in the bidding. The Contract, if awarded, will be by action of the District's Board of Trustees to the responsible Bidder submitting the lowest priced responsive Base Bid Proposal. If Alternate Bid Items are included in the bidding, the lowest priced Bid Proposal will be determined on the basis of the Base Bid Proposal. Interior Improvements: 1.
