SUMMARY OF WORK: Work includes Main Roof (Upper/Lower) & Single Large Pod Area: Remove existing modified bitumen roof membrane down to existing lightweight insulating concrete (LWIC), replace roof drains, mechanically fastened vented base sheet, torch apply 3-ply modified bitumen roof membrane; Raised Mechanical Pod Roof Areas: Coal tar built-up roof with aggregate surfacing (BUR) over perlite board to be removed down to concrete topper, replace roof drains, apply tapered rigid insulation and gypsum coverboard, torch apply 3-ply modified bitumen roof membrane; All sheet metal flashings are to be fabricated stainless steel; All mechanical equipment and associated electrical work to be performed by contractor; Upon completion, provide 20-year NDL manufacturer's warranty with elevated wind rider; replace campus electrical switchgear; Replace all rooftop units on Bldg. 01. Time is of the essence. Assuming all required documentation has been provided by the successful Quoter, the Notice to Procure (if necessary) will be issued shortly thereafter. The Work shall be Substantially Complete one-hundred eighty (180) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. Final Completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days following Substantial Completion of switchgear installation.
