Sidewalk Replacement Project RTD# 1231340 Separate sealed BIDS for the "Sidewalk Replacement Project," a sidewalk replacement project consisting of the removal of any existing sidewalk as well as the construction of 1,382 LF of 4' sidewalk along the proposed routes in the construction plans. The Contractor and Sub-Contractors shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as "'bound by the Dept. of Labor or as determined by the Court of Appeal, to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Wages of Employees on Public Works Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12). Also, the Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The Village of Woodlawn reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Village of Woodlawn for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
