Construction of: Oak Grove Ditch Bank Stabilization and Hydrologic Restoration. Project No. WE-21255-5.09 Benchmark No. B-9228 which includes but is not limited to demolition of existing fences, temporary fencing, tree cutting and removal, clearing and grubbing, channel grading and excavation, pipe removal and replacement, placement of Turf Reinforcement Mat (TRM), rip rap, live staking, tree planting and maintenance, riparian revegetation, installation of permanent fencing and all other associated work as shown in the plans and specifications. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Payment Bonds or Performance Bonds must file with each bond a certified and effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. Each bidder shall write the Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi Contractors License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed, and deposited with the Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. RANKIN COUNTY reserves the right to waive any information or irregularities, to accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the County, or to reject any or all bids. The Contract Time is Three Hundred Sixty-five (365) consecutive calendar days with liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day thereafter.
