Site work and paving for a road / highway in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
No proposal will be considered unless each is presented under sealed cover and is accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond satisfactory to the Board of Public Works in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal and made out in the name of the City of Marshfield, Wisconsin as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and 100% performance bond within ten (10) days of the award of the bid. Upon the execution of the contract by the City, the check will be returned. The envelope in which the bid is sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation ASPHALT PAVEMENT PROJECTS-2024 No proposal may be withdrawn, by the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days following the day of bid opening, within which time the contract will be awarded by the Common Council. The City of Marshfield, Wisconsin reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, including, but not limited to, any or all bids which are not responsive, to waive informalities in the bidding procedure and to award the contract to the bidder whom, in the opinion of said Ci City, will be most advantageous to said City.
