Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
for consideration and recommendation to the Common Council at their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd , 2024 for Award of Contract. Contract 2024-02 includes the opening and construction of new streets within the Green Acres Estates 1st Addition (street opening), including: o 21st Street, Washington Avenue to Green Acres Drive o 23rd Street, Ironwood Avenue to Aspen Avenue o Aspen Avenue, 21st Street to 23rd Street o Ironwood Avenue, 21st Street to 23rd Street o Cottonwood Avenue, 21st Street to 23rd Street o Basswood Avenue, 21st Street to 23rd Street. Street opening/construction will include new sanitary sewer mains, manholes and laterals; new water mains, valves, hydrants and services; new storm sewer mains, catch basins, area drains and storm laterals; along with new streets with drained subbase, pipe underdrains, geotextile fabric, concrete curb & gutter and asphalt pavement, including an asphalt path (asphalt by others). This project will also include the removal/filling of the existing wet pond (located at the southeast corner of 21st Street and Aspen Avenue), construction of a new wet pond detention basin, construction of side/rear lot-line ditches and grading/filling of buildable lots with suitable surplus materials generated from construction of this project. All new streets will remain closed to public and pedestrian traffic until completed. Washington Avenue shall be closed to all traffic (with detour required by Contractor) for the proposed water main connections and street repairs at 21st Street. All underground utility construction is to be completed in 2024. Final paving of some segments to be completed in 2024, with the remaining streets' final curb & gutter and paving to be completed in 2025. Bids will then be reviewed, tabulated, and submitted to the Board of Public Works on Monday, April 15th, 2024 Est. Value: $ 3,800,000.00 Est. Completion Date: July 1, 2025 Pre-Qualification: Yes
