This Request for Proposal (RFP) by the County of Kings is seeking qualified firms or consultants to provide construction inspections and materials testing services for the construction of pedestrian improvements in the unincorporated community of Kettleman City, CA. Improvements will consist of the construction curb, gutter, and sidewalk along General Petroleum Avenue from 1st Street to 50 feet west of 5th Street in Kettleman City. The project will also include the construction of valley gutters, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) ramps. Asphalt concrete will be placed between the existing pavement edge to the new lip of gutter. The work expected to be performed by the consultant consists of inspections and materials testing services. All questions regarding this RFP must be addressed in writing to Kings County Public Works Department, Patricio Villegas at Patricio.Villegas@co.kings.ca.us prior to 4 p.m., March 25, 2024. Questions received after this time will not be answered. Questions and responses will be sent to all prospective consultants. No responses will be given to verbal questions
