Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Medford, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Elk Creek Culvert Replacement This project includes the removal of two existing 48-inch diameter corrugated metal pipe culverts and steel guardrails; installation of a precast concrete box culvert approximately 16-feet long by 13-feet wide, by 14-feet high (16Lx13Wx14H) including wing walls, guardrail, and handrail; gravel access road restoration; grading to re-align and shape approximately 200 linear feet of the existing streambed channel; and channel restoration including placement of streambed gravels, streambed boulders, and root wads, seeding and planting. Temporary work during construction includes erosion and sediment control, turbidity monitoring, streambed dewatering, plunge pool and shade structure construction, and maintenance, monitoring the site for aquatic species, and other work as required by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Army Corps of Engineers, Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, the City of Central Point, and all other agencies having jurisdiction. This is a Federal Emergency Management Agency and City funded project. Est. Value: $ 250,000.00 Est. Completion Date: Sept. 15, 2024 Pre-Qualification: Yes COST ESTIMATE: $230,000 - $250,000 Subcontractor Disclosure forms must be submitted prior to 4:00 PM on the same date. All times stated are local. Please direct all questions to Greg Graves at 541-664-3321 (x225) or greg.graves@centralpointoregon.gov. The deadline for bidder questions is 4:00 PM on March 29, 2024. Work shall begin no earlier than June 15, 2024, and must be completed no later than September 15, 2024. Award of the contract will not be final until the later of: 1) three (3) business days after the City of Central Point announces Notice of Intent to Award; or, 2) the City of Central Point provides a written response to each timely protest, denying the protest and affirming the award. Bidders must be prequalified in order to be eligible for award. Pre-qualification may be with the City of Central Point, City of Medford, or the Oregon Department of Transportation. If the bidder is disqualified in any of these jurisdictions, the bidder will be ineligible for this contract. In addition to being prequalified as described above, all bidders must be listed as Plan Holders for the project online to be considered eligible to bid. The contract is for public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279.870. Work performed by the Contractors own organization must be at least 30% of the awarded contract amount. The City of Central Point may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by the City of Central Point that it is in the public interest to do so. The City of Central Point reserves the right to waive minor discrepancies or errors in bids; however, any bid with an unsigned Schedule of Prices will be immediately rejected.
