Bids shall be addressed Sebastian County, Arkansas, 35 South 6th Street, Room 106, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901 and shall be labeled Bid for Ben Geren Regional Park Softball and Drainage Improvements This project includes the reconstruction of eight (8) softball fields within the Ben Geren Regional Park and the associated grading and drainage improvements. Bidders may examine the construction site during normal operation hours of Ben Geren Regional Park. Bidders will be required to inform themselves of all Addenda duly issued in accordance with the requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. Information regarding the number of Addenda that has been duly issued can be obtained from Hawkins-Weir Engineers. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 14-25-101 et seq. and related statutes. Sebastian County, Arkansas reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Opening Date. Funding for this project is governed by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Program and provided via the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund, established thereunder. Bidders shall inform themselves of all requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. This publication was paid for by Sebastian County, Arkansas, and the cost of the publication is $502.40, per Arkansas Code 14-14-116 and related statutes. SCHEDULE I - The Contractor shall be Substantially Completed with the Work proposed under Schedule I within 210 calendar days after the date when the Notice to Proceed is issued and completed and ready for Final Payment within 30 calendar days after Substantial Completion in accordance with Article 15 of the General Conditions.
