Site work for a mixed-use development in Robstown, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a library; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (Hereinafter Called the "county") Will Accept Sealed Competitive Bids for: Nueces County Sunrise Pond Nature & Storytime Walking Trail at 1000 Terry Shamsie Blvd., Robstown, Tx 78380 in Accordance With the Drawings, Specifications, and Other Contract Documents Prepared by International Consulting Engineers (Ice). The scope of work for the Base Bid consists of the following: A. Demolition, clearing and grubbing required for this work includes, but is not necessarily limited to: 1. Felling of trees including removal of stumps, roots and other debris protruding through ground surface. 2. Removing shrubs, grass, weeds and other vegetation. 3. Removing improvements or obstructions that interfere with new construction. 4. Constructing temporary barriers around trees designated to remain. 5. Disconnecting and removing existing utility lines on the site except those designated to remain. 6. Removal of all debris. The Contractor shall provide all tools and equipment that are necessary to complete the project in its entirety. All work shall be in accordance with the scope of work. All materials used for the project shall be equal to or better than the existing materials quality. The Contractor will be responsible for removal and disposal of all demolished materials and debris from the work area. The Contractor shall take proper care to avoid unnecessary noise, clatter or obstructions in walkways, sidewalks, and roadways. The Contractor shall not interfere with use or safe passage to and from building and adjacent facilities. Nueces County does not provide project estimated cost, in order to receive the lowest & best bid for our taxpayers. Bidder should include coverage for a builder's risk policy insuring the full replacement cost value of the building and improvements against all perils to include windstorm and flood. The U.S. Department of Treasury will not extend its deadlines. All federally funded work/assignments must be completed and in full use on or before December 31, 2026. Accompanying this Bid is a certified or cashier's check or bid bond payable to the order of Nueces County (hereinafter called "County"), for not less than five percent (5%) of the largest amount for which a contract can be awarded under this proposal. the work is not completed by such time, he/she agrees to pay to the County as liquidated damages, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars and no/100 ($200.00) for each calendar day after such time that the work remains incomplete, calculated in accordance with the provisions of the Contract Documents. Upon Conditional Selection, the selected Bidder shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, as required by law, each in the amount of the full contract price, and each in the form promulgated by the County. Such bonds must be written by a company, or companies, acceptable to and approved by the County. The County will not accept a bond written by any company that does not meet all following requirements. Question Deadline 03/20/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Questions must be submitted via online.
