Landscape Maintenance Contract DESCRIPTION OF WORK: To provide landscape maintenance services by a licensed professional for the City parks and grounds owned by Vineyard City. Work to include, but not limited to: Mowing, trimming, planting, cleaning, weeding, spraying herbicide, fertilizing, etc. A five-(5) year contract, to be executed as a one (1)-year with four (4) option years, with the successful party, will be negotiated as a result of this request. WAITING PERIOD BEFORE AWARD: A waiting period of 30 calendar days from the opening of proposals to the award of a contract may be required. PROJECT ADMINISTRATION: Before the opening of proposals, all questions relating to this project shall be directed to the Maintenance Manager, George Schramm. All questions must be submitted in writing and will be answered and forwarded to Contract Document holders as an addendum to the Request for Proposals. Each proposer is responsible for ensuring it is on the list of contract document holders. OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any informality in a proposal, and make awards in the Owner's interest. Proposal Format: One (1) written or one (1) electronic copy of the proposal is required. Responses to this request will be made in accordance with the guidelines and information provided herein. The City reserves the right to interview respondents, request product demonstrations as part of the proposal evaluation process and reject any or all proposals. To request a Site Visit of the area(s), please contact George Schramm, Maintenance Manager, no less than 4 days prior to the proposal deadline. A site visit is not required to submit a proposal.
