The project scope includes approximately 57.7 acres of clearing and grubbing, 96,400 cubic yards of excavation, 95,900 cubic yards of embankment and lot grading for 128 lots, approximately 2,383 linear feet of 8" water pipe, 1,397 linear feet of 12" water pipe, 3,299 linear feet of 8" sanitary sewer pipe, 1,314 linear feet of 12" sanitary sewer pipe, drainage facilities, dry utilities, and approximately 5,150 linear feet of street improvements. Additionally, the project scope consists of approximately 1,100 linear feet of roadway improvements along Santa Clara Road, including pavement widening for a left and right turn lane. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. The Successful Bidder, if any, will be the responsible Bidder which in the Boards' judgement will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than 2 percent of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within 7 days after the date the Contractor is notified.
