Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Dunlap, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.

Contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the Dunlap Community High School Softball Field Press Box. The project consists of constructing a press box at the high school softball field adjacent to existing bleachers. Work includes providing all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, tools/equipment, services and associated work for this project as set forth in the Contract Documents. Bid shall be held good and not withdrawn for SIXTY (60) calendar days from the date of bid opening. Bidders are encouraged to visit the site, and all such visits shall be arranged through the Owner - Please contact Dr. Scott Adreon at 309.243.7751 to arrange. All requests for clarifications or interpretations shall be made to the Architect in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Owner, but shall not be before Tuesday, May 28th, 2024. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. All questions are due to the Architect by Monday, April 1st, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. local time, after this time no additional questions will be reviewed prior to the bid opening. Bids on all work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act", 820 IL CS 130/0.01 et seq., the "Equal Employment Opportunity Clause" - rules of the Illinois Human Rights Commission, the "Illinois Drug Free Workplace Act" and all other applicable and governing laws and ordinances. Bidder shall state a stipulated sum amount for performance of the work in accordance with these schedule dates. Substantial completion shall be by Friday, August 02, 2024; Final completion shall be by Friday, August 09, 2024
