Furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for Auditorium renovation at CC Spaulding Elementary School, 1531 South Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27707. Bid security required is 5% of the bid in cash, certified check, or Bid Bond. Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of the contract amount will be required. o Durham Public Schools reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities or irregularities. Each bid must be accompanied by (1) cash; or (2) a Cashier's Check or a Certified Check of the Bidder in an amount not less than 5% of the bid, made payable to the Owner; or (3) a bidder's bond on the Bid Bond Form provided herein or on a similar form which in every respect materially complies with said Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% of his bid. For purposes of this provision, the amount of the bid shall be the Base Bid plus all positive amount alternates. The Bidder's bond shall be issued by a surety company licensed to conduct business in the state of North Carolina and acceptable to the Owner.
