The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) is requesting proposals from vendors for one (1) hot water equipment system skid including the shell and tube heat exchanger, condensate receiver pump, inline hot water pumps, F&T steam trap on HX discharge, and related piping, valves, and strainers. as part of the Hill Residence Hall Renovation project. NCSSM is Owner-Furnishing this hot water skid system in advance of execution of the project construction contract to ensure the hot water skid system is on-hand in time for the project completion in November 2024. (Students will reoccupy the residence hall for start of classes in early January 2025.) The unit will be Contractor-Installed as part of the renovation construction (single prime). Lead-time is a critical consideration, and vendors may submit multiple options in their bid. Clearly distinguish the unit selection, cost, and lead-time for each option submitted. For use in determining options, the ideal unit delivery date would be on or before mid-October 2024. Minor variations (inches) in the specified unit size dimensions may be considered in order to improve lead-time.
