HVAC Water Treatment Installation/Repair (JOC) - Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications. Contractor shall have adequate and qualified staff in order to provide WCPSS with the service and/or response time requested. Must be able to handle multiple calls at one time, respond on a 24 hour, 7 day basis, and will be expected to respond to emergency requests within 2 hours. Contractor must be familiar with HVAC equipment manufacturer’s recommended procedures for maintaining, cleaning, flushing, and filtering of HVAC systems. Primary tasks of this contract will be but not limited to the following: Chemical cleaning of HVAC system components such as Plate and Frame heat exchangers, condensers, etc. for contaminant removal. Replacement of chemical controllers, chemical feed pumps and other hardware as requested; provide storage capabilities for Closed Loop solutions and re-injection if required; installation of glycol solutions or thermal fluids into Closed Loop systems requiring low temperature thermal protection. Contractor must adhere to industry safety standards for handling and disposal of chemicals, containers, etc. and provide MSDS sheets for all chemicals used in Install/Repairs. The contractor's net profit shall be no greater than cost plus 10% charged to materials required to complete assigned projects. The contractor must be able to provide documentation showing the cost of materials per the request of WCPSS for any given job. Costs for specialized tools or equipment required to complete an assigned project will be listed and subject to review by the Owner. Offerors are cautioned that this is a request for offers, not a request to contract, and WCPSS reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all offers when such rejection is deemed to be in the best interest of WCPSS.
