Job order contract or service agreement for wake county public school system's maintenance & operations dept. For fiscal year 2024-25, beginning july 1, 2024. Question Deadline MAY 24, 2024 1:00 p.m. ET BID PROPOSAL The rates submitted will be for the period of July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025: Scope of Work: Fire Sprinkler System Inspections Contractor must carry appropriate licenses and/or certifications. The contractor must be qualified and able to perform all inspections and testing on sprinkler, pre-action, standpipe systems, and private hydrants in accordance to, but not limited to, NFPA 13, NFPA 14, and NFPA 25. The contractor must have the knowledge to ensure the operational integrity of the sprinkler system, recognize system defects and malfunctions, and be able to produce all documentation as required by NFPA 25 and the local AHJ. The contractor must have personnel to disable the fire alarm system prior to beginning the test and inspection. The contractor must have adequate qualified personnel to perform all tasks within the stipulated contract duration: The scope of work defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be referred to as the PROJECT. Deliverables shall include a pricing information, experience and methodology for commercial moves pertaining to public school environments. Other types of appropriate insurance may be required depending upon scope of services provided. Examples are aviation liability, pollution liability, crime, employee dishonesty/directors and officers. WCPSS reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bids and, unless otherwise specified by the bidder, to accept any item in the bid. If either a unit price or extended price is obviously in error and the other is obviously correct, the incorrect price will be disregarded.
