Site work and paving for a civil project in McMurray, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Resurfacing of approximately 68,750 square yards on various roads throughout the Township. The base bid includes approximately 66,340 square yards of rotomilling and profiling; 8,720 tons of Superpave WMA 19.0 mm Binder Course; 5,790 tons of Superpave WMA 9.5 mm Fine Grade Wearing Course; 3,440 square yards of base repairs; replacement of 240 feet of 15" storm sewers; 95 feet of underdrain; repair/ rebuild/ replacement of 52 inlets; traffic control; linestriping; lawn restoration; and other items incidental to the project. Also, two Add Alternates for an additional 3,520 square yards of roadway paving. Bids shall only be considered valid if bidder is included on the official plan holders list. Only the purchase of the plans and specifications from the Township will place purchaser on the official plan holders list. Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) is required. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages will be paid on this project. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by an executed Anti-Collusion Affidavit on the PennDOT form provided. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
