The Public Works Department of the City of Santa Clara is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering design services to prepare bid documents (plans, specifications, and engineer's estimate - PS&E) for public works bidding of the Anna Drive Neighborhood Flood Protection Project (PROJECT). The requested engineering design services involve federal grant documentation supports, preliminary engineering, detailed design, bidding and award support, and construction support as described in detail in Attachment A, Scope of Services. A major portion of the PROJECT is supported by federal grant funding, the Community Project Funding/ Congressionally Directed Spending (CPFCDS). Thus, the PROJECT shall comply with all federal requirements and Caltrans Local Assistance Procedures Manual. Submitted Proposal shall include completed forms provided in Attachment I. In addition, the City will take the lead to coordinate with Caltrans to obtain E76 and other necessary approvals to move the PROJECT forward; however, the selected Consultant shall assist the City in preparing all necessary documents to coordinate with Caltrans and regulatory personnel.
