Old Village School and Ridge Wood Elementary School Playground Improvements. Each proposal must be accompanied by: 1) A 5% bid bond or certified check; If the contractor is providing a certified check as bid security, the certified check must be delivered to the Northville Public Schools Board of Education Offices located at 405 West Main Street, Northville, MI 48167 prior to the proposals date and time 2) A sworn and notarized criminal background affidavit; 3) A sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship that exists between the owner or any employee of the contractor and any member of the Board of Education or the Superintendent of School District; and 4) A sworn and notarized Iran Disclosure Statement. The Board of Education will not accept a proposal that does not include these sworn and notarized disclosure statements. The contents of the RFP and proposer (also referred to as Contractor in these documents) Proposal will become contractual obligations if a contract ensues. Failure of the proposer to accept these obligations will result in cancellation of the award. Successful bidders whose proposals are $50,000 or more will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payments Bonds by a Treasury listed surety in the amount of 100% of their proposal. The cost of Bond(s) shall be included in each proposal. Northville Public Schools' Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals, either whole or in part, to waive any informalities or irregularities therein, and to award the contract to other than the contractor(s) submitting the best financial Proposal (low bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion.
