ALL questions should be emailed to Chris Bahjet at Bahjetc@Michigan.gov address no later than 2:00 p.m., Eastern on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. The Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget in partnering with the Michigan Department of State Police is seeking proposals for a feasibility study. This study is to incorporate a gender-neutral locker room with separate men's and women's toilets and individual changing rooms to maximize the space usage in the basement. There are currently two locker rooms this area for men and women. The concept has been implemented at another Michigan State Police location, the Sault Ste Marie State Police Post as posted in the attached plans. There is a small kitchen area that need to be renovated as well. Nonstructural walls can be removed and relocated as needed. For the HVAC, some planning and coordination will be required with the current all building HVAC project. At this stage only phase 100 is required with conceptual cost estimates. Meetings: For this phase, three (3) meetings will suffice. First meeting to be on site to review site conditions. Other meetings can be Teams. Microsoft TEAMS is the only software that we use for online meetings.
