The scope of work includes removal of all structures, including but not limited to the building, concrete steps, concrete retaining walls, basement walls, any debris on the property, offsite disposal to a fully permitted dump site provided by the Contractor; asbestos abatement and confirmation; verification that all existing utilities have been disconnected; capping of the sanitary sewer lateral per the Allegheny County Health Department Standard, supply an approved Allegheny County Health Department sanitary sewer disconnection report; supply and install underdrain to direct runoff away from the adjacent property, and connect to the existing roof leader system; supply and compact clean fill for all void spaces; placement of 4" of top soil; site grading and restoration; complete in place. Notice is hereby given that the specifications and proposal forms are available from the North Hills Council of Governments (NHCOG) for the above mentioned project. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Cashiers's Check, or Certified Check made payable, without condition, to the North Hills Council of Governments in an amount no less than 10% of the bid. Cash will not be accepted. The NHCOG reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part and to waive any informalities.
