Plum Street Park Project. Question Deadline 04/03/2024 at 4:00 PM ET. The scope of work includes the improvements to the Plum Street Mall shown on the plan set found in the Documents Section of the Penn Bid Bonfire Solicitation Service. PREPARATION OF BID: Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a Bid Bond (or Certified Check or Letter of Credit) the Non-collusion Affidavit, Bid for Lump Sum Contracts (Proposal), Prime Contractor's Qualification Form, and List of Proposed Subcontractors. All blank spaces for bid prices must be filled in, in ink or typewritten, in both words and figures, and the foregoing Certifications must be fully completed and executed when submitted. In case of discrepancies of written words and figures, the prices written in words shall govern. There is no physical public bid opening for this project; bids will be revealed via the Penn Bid Bonfire website. No fees apply to bidders who submit without being awarded the contract. The awardee will be responsible for any fees due to Penn Bid per their fee schedule. All interested parties must submit questions via the web based system by the posted deadline. Bidders are not permitted to contact the Borough Engineer or staff directly. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond in compliance with the contract documents. Bid security will be returned to the non-awarded bidders upon the execution of the contract. Prevailing Wage requirements are applicable to this project. Public Works Employment Verification Act requirements are also in effect.
