As of April 10, 2024 project has not yet been awarded. Project is expected to be awarded on April 15, 2024 Work to include the removal of all existing fire alarm related items pull stations, horn/strobes, fire alarm control panel, etc.. New work to include the installation of new voice evacuation fire alarm system including new fire alarm pull stations, heat detectors, horn/strobes, fire alarm control panel, etc. Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the Owner in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required. Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Bids shall be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, considering conformity with specifications, terms of delivery, and quality and serviceability, as determined by the Board. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in the bidding process. Any such decision shall be considered final. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner. Facsimile and electronic bids will not be accepted. Bidders are responsible for ensuring timely delivery of their bids, no late bids will be accepted.
