The project consists of localized milling, scratch course, wearing course, and all other associated work as described in the specifications. The Project Consists Of The Following: -primary (Base)( ) Bid - Ash Drive, Fir Drive/tulip Lane, And Timothy Avenue. Alternate Bid No. 1 - Cedar Lane, Hemlock Lane, And Hickory Lane - Alternate Bid No. 2 - Schlegelg Avenue And Highland Street Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Lower Nazareth Township or a Bid Bond in favor of Lower Nazareth Township at 10% of the total bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond of 100% of the awarded contract total within 15 days of the Notice of Intent to Award. A Maintenance Bond of 100% of the awarded contract total will be required for 24 months from the date of the Notice of Completion, which will be reduced to 50% during g the second year. The work in connection with this project constitutes Public Works by y a Public Body under the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workers employed on this project. The Lower Nazareth Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to waive any informality in bidding, increase or decrease quantities, reject any or all bids, and award the contract in the Township's best interest. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the bid opening g date.
