Site work for a water / sewer project in Cape Fear, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Work consists of improvements to Cell 2 of the Eagle Island Confined Disposal Facility, including raising approximately 2,000 linear feet of low areas on the west portion of Cell 2 to elevation 46 feet NAVD88 using existing coffer berms and interior materials as borrow. Additional work includes raising selected bents of the timber cribbing structures at the outfall pipe for Spillway 4 and performing repairs to straighten Spillways 4 and 5 by deconstructing the riser structures, removing the footings and catwalks, re-grading the bump-outs to a 3H:1V slope, preparing the subgrade, pouring new 16-inch footings, and reconstructing the riser structures. All work shall support the continued functionality of the confined disposal facility and be completed in accordance with project specifications. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
