Renovation of a transportation facility in Richmond, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, and incidentals necessary for the replacement of various interior lighting on both the landside and airside with LED lights. All work will be performed in accordance with the specifications, construction drawings, and local code The Contract Documents form the Contract for Construction, Installation, and Implementation. This Contract represents the entire and integrated agreement between the parties hereto and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements, either written or oral. The Contract may be amended or modified only by a Modification as defined in Subparagraph 1.1.1. The Contract Documents shall not be construed to create any contractual relationship of any kind between Architect/Engineer and Contractor, but Architect/Engineer shall be entitled to the performance of obligations intended for their benefit, and to the enforcement thereof. Nothing contained in the Contract Documents shall create any contractual relationship between the Owner or Architect/Engineer and any Subcontractor or Sub-subcontractor. Upon notification of award, the successful bidder shall be required to submit the executed surety bond. Performance Bond: If the bidder's bid amount is $100,000 or greater, the bidder shall submit, with the bid package, evidence that it can obtain a Performance Bond from a surety company legally authorized to do business in Virginia in an amount equal to the contract sum. Upon notification of award, the successful bidder shall be required to submit the executed surety bond. Bid Bond: If the bidder's bid amount is $100,000 or greater, the bidder shall submit, with the bid package, a bid bond from a surety company legally authorized to do business in Virginia in the amount of five percent (5%) of such Bid with the understanding that it shall guarantee that the bid prices remain valid during the period of Ninety (90) days following the opening of the bids.
