The work generally consists of structural, mechanical, electrical, and environmental work. The demolition work generally consists of but is not limited to the removal and demolition of the following: existing underground fuel storage tank and underground structure, existing fuel pipes and vent, existing conduit, existing leak detection control panel, existing day tank. The new work generally consists of but is not limited to the installation of the following: new aboveground storage tank with access stairs and platform, housed on a new exterior concrete pad with a new canopy, regrading of existing exterior, new retaining wall, new fuel piping and vent, new conduit, new day tank, new fuel polisher, new leak detection panel. An exterior concrete pad with a canopy shall be provided to house the new aboveground storage tank. There shall be no new underground piping or equipment. All new piping and equipment shall be above ground. The estimated construction cost $500,000 and $1 million. To be eligible to submit a Bid, the Bidder must possess a valid State of Hawaii Contractor's license classification (s) A All interested parties are invited to attend a voluntary pre-bid meeting and the State conducted site visit No other time for a site inspection will be scheduled or allowed. Bidders shall comply with all access requirements of the facility. Bidders and interested parties are required to sign-in at the meetings to confirm attendance. Check with Project Coordinator.
