Site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Indian Grove, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
**As of May 8,2024 project was awarded to Brookfield Box & Bridge LLC awarded amount is $492,321.40.** The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a 70 feet long x 24.5 ft wide zinc painted steel girder bridge with a concrete deck and w-beam rails that is supported by reinforced concrete abutments on 14 diameter galvanized cast in place piles, and other required appurtenances. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, 2019 Edition including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owners budget.
