The Village of Round Lake Beach (the "Village") is accepting sealed bids for the Civic Cultural Center Performance Area Renovation, which includes asphalt path removals, earthwork, grading, compaction and shaping, installation of new asphalt paving, decorative concrete pavers, limited lighting, concrete block stairs with railings, concrete walkways and paving areas, concrete curbing and light and vehicular section asphalt paving. Work also includes construction of interlocking block wall retaining wall, backfilling of planters, coordination and installation of electric distribution panel connections and light fixtures, landscape planting and turf restoration. The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, waive technicalities and select a bid that meets the specifications required by the Village. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois law requiring the payment of current prevailing wages to all laborers, workers and mechanics, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor, and the record keeping, submission and inspection requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, including the requirement for submission of certified payroll records. All bidders must also comply with the Illinois statutory requirements regarding labor, including equal employment opportunity laws.
