The 284th & 72nd Overlays project consists of improving two street sections. 284th from 68th to Copper Station development, and 72nd from 265th to Pioneer Highway by 2-inch grind and overlay, curb ramps, sidewalk, and channelization. The Engineer's estimate for this project ranges between $800,000 to $865,000. The project's duration shall be within thirty (30) working days of the Notice to Proceed. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. All bids shall be submitted on the prescribed Bid Forms and in the manner as stated in this advertisement and in the Project Manual and said bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond to the City of Stanwood in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The City of Stanwood reserves the right to accept the bid that is in the best interest of the City, to postpone the acceptance of bids and the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days, or to reject any and all bids received. Subject to the foregoing, the bid may be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. When awarded the Contract, the successful bidder shall promptly execute the Contract and shall furnish a bond of faithful performance of the Contract in the full amount of the Contract price.
