Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Carroll, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; water / sewer project; and transportation facility.

Work items include embankment construction, asphalt paving, asphalt pavement repair, pavement marking, storm sewer installation, water, sanitary, and electric utility installation and coordination, foundation design and construction, final building design and erection of 2, 2-unit box hangars with each unit having internal clear space dimensions of 60' x 60' for a total box hangar floor space of 14,400 square feet, final building design and erection of a 10-unit T-Hangar, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation for each hangar unit. All sitework will be constructed in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration's Standard Specifications for Airport Construction. Utility installation shall be in accordance with local utility requirements and code. Building design and erection shall comply with the Ohio Building Code and all local codes. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit. Letter of credit shall be revocable only at the option of the Owner. The amount of the certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit shall be equal to ten (10%) percent of the bid. Bids may be held by the Fairfield County Board of Commissioners for a period not to exceed 90 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of evaluating bids prior to award of contract. The right is reserved, as Fairfield County Board of Commissioners may require, to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality or irregularity in the bids received. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act as amended for all site work outside of the building footprint plus 5-feet. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the US Department of Labor. All work within the building footprint plus the five-foot buffer is not subject to wage rate requirements.
