The WORK includes rehabilitating sanitary and storm sewer pipes by cure-in-place pipe (CIPP) methods AND the cleaning and video inspection of sanitary and storm sewer pipes in support of future lining projects. The City of Bremerton reserves the right to reject any and all bids on any or all schedules or alternates or to waive any informalities in the bidding and shall determine which bid or bidders is the most satisfactory and responsible bidder and shall be the sole judge thereof. WAGE RATES: Contractor shall file a "Statement of Intent to Pay Prevailing Wages" with the State of Washington Department of Labor & Industries prior to commencing the Contract work. Contractor shall pay prevailing wages and comply with Chapter 39.12 of the Revised Code of Washington, as well as any other applicable prevailing wage rate provisions. Contractor will be required to pay Kitsap County Prevailing Wage Rates current on the bid opening date. The Kitsap County prevailing wage rates are available at the Dept. of Labor and Industries website. ESTIMATE: $1,000,000 - $1,300,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. BID SECURITY: Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. The failure to furnish a bid deposit of a minimum of 5 percent shall make the bid nonresponsive and shall cause the bid to be rejected by the Contracting Agency. PERFORMANCE BOND: The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the Contract Price. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Bremerton.
