Question Acceptance Deadline 03/28/2024 03:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 100 % - Payment Bond 100 % -- Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan in the amount of at least five (5%) percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to the City of Oak Park, Michigan, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. The contractor understands that the term of this contract is for twelve (12) months, with an option to extend for an additional twelve (12) months, if mutually agreed to by the parties. The City shall have the right to not extend this contract for any reason or for no reason at all. The dates for completing the above mentioned work, as set forth in the contract, must be adhered to by the contractor, and any additional work will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the parties. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof. *The City of Oak Park, Michigan reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all. Any informalities or irregularities in bids may be waived by the City of Oak Park for any reason, or for no reason at all, in the sole discretion of the City.
