The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: renovation of a two-story above grade, 130,000-square-foot educational facility, as of March 18, 2024, a construction manager has been selected for this project. A firm construction timeline for this project has not yet been released. The following trades are being sought for this project: Site and utilities, concrete, MEP, asphalt, demolition, fencing All contractors bidding on work must be bondable and must include on their bid form the cost for furnishing a Co-Obligee Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Co-Obligee Performance Bond. On the proposal form the contractor will identify a cost for it to be added to their bid should bonds be required. No direct contact with the Owner or Architect is allowed Prebid RFI’s are due by end of day on April 16th, 2024. No questions will be answered after this date. Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers' check, money order, or bid bond made payable to The Christman Company in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid as a bid security. The Bid Security of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after award of contracts by the Construction Manager. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds and insurance within 30 days after award of contracts.
