This phase of the project involves the demolition of the Second Creek Lift Station and the abandonment of the associated 10-inch and 12-inch force mains from the lift station to the discharge vault. The site will be graded and restored to pre-existing conditions. All above ground appurtenances will be removed to 4-feet below grade and all below grade structures will be filled with sand. The WORK of this project consists of demolition of the Second Creek lift station, abandonment the associated 10-inch and 12-inch force mains from the lift station to the discharge vault including: removing of the above-ground building structure, removal of the below-ground structures to 4-feet below grade, filling of below-grade structures with sand, removal of un-salvaged electrical, instrumental and mechanical equipment, removal of piping, manholes, concrete pads, fence, riprap, bollards, air handling unit system, bioxide chemical feet and tank and system, capping and flowfilling 10-inch and 12-inch force mains and associated structures, disconnection and abandonment of Denver Water service line, lift station site and right-of-way final grading and restoration, and salvaging and delivering items as indicated on plans to the Aurora SEAM facility.
