As of April 11, 2024, the project is awarded to RSG Landscaping LLC: 1. Complete Removal of the current irrigation system including all components, haul away and disposal. This includes all the communications wiring - $19,075. 2. Hunter ACC2 system controller used to run sections 12, 13, & 14 - $4,675. 3. Section 12 – irrigation system (all components and installation) - $16,296. 4. Section 13 – irrigation system (all components and installation) - $25,608. 5. Section 14 – irrigation system (all components and installation) - $46,526. As of April 10, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Irrigation System Removal & Install New Irrigation System - Amelia Cemetery CLARIFICATION OF TERMS: If any prospective Applicant has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, the prospective Bidder should contact the Procurement Officer whose name appears on the face of this solicitation no later than March 20th. All inquiries must be submitted in writing via e-mail to gary.borden@dvs.virginia.gov SCOPE OF WORK AND NEEDS Complete removal of the existing irrigation system including all components including the communication wiring that services sections 13 & 14 at the Amelia Virginia Veterans Cemetery. All debris must be hauled away and disposed of properly. Then a completely new system will be installed for sections 12, 13 & 14. The system shall consist of main lines which must be at least 18 inches below ground level (below the frost line) and lateral lines that stem from the main lines and supply water to the irrigations heads. The irrigation system shall include features to allow for winterization in an efficient and effective manner. This is meant to be a general description and all work shall comply with all applicable industry standards and local/state codes. All turf shall be covered by the irrigation system. BID ACCEPTANCE PERIOD: Any bid in response to this solicitation shall be valid for 60 days. At the end of the days the bid may be withdrawn at the written request of the bidder. If the bid is not withdrawn at that time it remains in effect until an award is made or the solicitation is canceled.
