Reference Number 0000266239 Question Acceptance Deadline Mar 18, 2024 02:00 PM CDT Pricing Lump sum Work of this Contract involves the renovation of the Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) reception area in the Alvin Hamilton Building, located at 1783 Hamilton Street, Regina, Saskatchewan. 1 Work of this Contract involves the supply of materials for a renovation of the reception area in the Alvin Hamilton Building, located at 1783 Hamilton Street, Regina, Saskatchewan. For the purpose of this contract the owner will be represented by the Project Manager appointed by BGIS who will fulfill the role defined for the BGIS Representative in these specifications. 2 The work includes but not limited to: 1.Supply only of ballistic fiberglass panels as per the specifications. 2 Supply only of ballistic glazing as per the specifications and Appendix A. 3 Provide manufacturer's information and shop drawings. 4 Provide operation and maintenance documentation from supplier to include in the O&M manual A bid bond in a commercially reasonable form or an irrevocable standby letter of credit issued by a financial institution authorized to conduct business in Canada as a Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank in the amount of at least 10% of the Bid Price and that shall be in effect until forty-five (45) calendar days following Closing Date. A suretys consent indicating that, in accordance with section 5.18.1. of this ITT, the surety company will furnish the contract security which shall include a 50% performance bond and a 50% labour and materials payment bond of the Bid Price or a consent from the Schedule I or Schedule II chartered bank that an irrevocable standby letter of credit in the amount of 50% of the Bid Price will be furnished.
