Renovation of a medical facility in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Replacement of the sanitary sewer service in a portion of levels 1, 2, and 3 of the E- Block at the Regina General Hospital, along with the architectural work required to selectively demolish walls to facilitate the rework and then to infill and finish the openings created during that process. The replacement of the main isolation valves on the domestic water services in the level 2 E Block ceiling space is also included in the project. The project identifies a cash allowance to cover a collaborative effort between the Owner, Consultants, and the Contractor to review and define a work phasing strategy and an infection control plan. The successful bidder will work with the SHA (owner) and the prime consultant to define hoarding and phasing prior to construction work. The bid drawings identify the phasing (North & South Portions) of the building. The bidders are to include the work as described in the contract documents for L1, L2, and L3 - North portion of the building in their base bids.
