Renovation of a laboratory facility in Morgantown, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.

Chem Research Lab Helium Recovery Piping West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors to provide and install helium recovery piping in Clark Hall and the Chemistry Research Laboratory ("CRL"). Project consists of running 1 1/4 diameter rigid copper into several classrooms of Clark, installation of manifolds, OFCI helium compressor equipment and minor electrical and chilled water work. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion. Completion Dates The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated below. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed and/or Contact shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion. Substantial Completion shall be ninety (90) calendar days after executed contract. Final Completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days thereafter. The signed Bid Bond contained in the Contract Documents for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus all additive Alternates.
