Reference Number 0000263369 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/03/21 12:00:00 AM NDT The Town has extensive drinking water infrastructure and we would like to have it modeled in order to better understand its characteristics, and to use as a tool for capital projects and future development. We also require simulations to be run to determine vulnerability in the event of fire fighting activities in various parts of town, particularly higher elevations that depend on the pump houses. Also, simulate breaks and the effects on the overall system and determine which areas are most vulnerable. Scope of Work The following scope shall be completed in accordance with latest editions of the Prime Consultant Agreement, and industry best practice. The Owner is looking to engage a consultant team to complete the following scope of work, including but not limited to: Gather information from Town staff on operations and maintenance practices. Develop and calibrate a model of the Town's drinking water system. Identify and make recommendations for potential locations for installing flow monitors. Run model simulations for leaks and for fire events. Provide notes and recommendations regarding vulnerable areas and system improvements. Include "ballpark" cost estimates as necessary. Review the Town's water and sewer regulations and provide recommendations for improvements, if necessary.
