This project consists of the HMA patching, pipe culverts and storm sewer installation, PCC paved ditch, gutter and combination curb and gutter, ditch grading, culvert and riprap placement and incidental seeding of impacted residential yards on Lakeview Drive, Ridgewood Drive and Cheshire Drive in Stookey Township. The project is located in the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of Section 13 (Cheshire Drive) and the SE 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 1 (Lakeview Drive) Township 1 North, Range 9 West of the 3rd Principal Meridian. No less than the prevailing rate of wages, as determined in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage, shall be paid to all laborers, operators, teamsters, masons, plumbers, and any workmen employed in construction on this project. Each Bidder must be IDOT pre-qualified in categories (17) Concrete Construction and (12) Drainage. In addition, each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's total bid price, such security being an acceptable bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond or Letter of Credit in the full amount of the bid. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Stookey Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the bidding.
