Renovation of an educational facility in Orleans, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 19,879-square-foot educational facility.
**As of May 24, 2024 project was awarded to ADS but awarded amount is not available.** Remove and dispose of 19,879 S.F. of glued-on carpet and replace and install with rubber tile. Work needs to be completed between 7/1/24 and 8/31/24. For further information or questions, please contact Michael VanKleef at 508-287-1285 Monday-Friday in the morning. Scope of Work: 1 ) Remove and dispose of 19,879 total S.F. of glued-on carpet in the Nauset Middle School. Install a total of 7100 S.F. of Flexco Distinct Designs CE-143 Rubber Tile in the hallways, and a total of 12,779 S.F. of Flexco Distinct Designs CE-103 Rubber Tile in the classrooms. 2) It is the intention of the school to not allow substitutions to the specified floor tile or adhesive. This tile was installed in other sections of the school with good success, and this new tile will match the existing tile. Substitutions will not be allowed without prior approval by the school, and solely at the school's discretion. 3) A floor plan showing the location of the flooring is attached. The locations are summarized as follows: a. 6th grade hallway: 4100 square feet b. 6th grade classrooms (14 rooms, 9,139 total S.F.)
