Renovation of an educational facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,990-square-foot educational facility.
The Scope of Work pertains to replacement of approximately 556m2 | 5,990 square feet of roof at Botterell Hall. The building is a concrete and steel structure of nine-story with the two lowest floors below grade. The roof generally consists of a protected membrane system with gravel and paver ballast. The intent of the project is to replace the existing roof above the Botterell Hall Annex, including, but not limited to, ballast, insulation, membrane, flashings, counter-flashings, drains and vents. The new roof will be an inverted, built-up, roof membrane system. Work will include but is not limited to: removal and replacement of the inverted roofing systems; all requisite M&E services for temporary disconnect, and alterations as needed; removal and replacement of existing drains; provision of new soldered scuppers; and provision of new flashings; Start Date: Immediately upon contract finalization. Preferred Completion Date: July 26, 2024, or as quickly as possible. Deadline for Questions Thursday, March 28, 2024 by 4:00 PM ET
