Roof Replacement / Repairs to Building located at 401 Chestnut St., Aberdeen, Mississippi. Proposals must be accompanied by proposal security in the form of acceptable Bid Bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the base bid; such security to be forfeited as liquidated damages, not penalty, by any bidder who may be awarded the contract, but who fails to carry out the terms of the proposal, execute contract and post-performance bond in the form and amount within the time specified. All bids submitted must be sealed and clearly labeled on the outside of the bid envelope "Roof Repairs to Building located at 401 S. Chestnut sealed bid to be opened April 19, 2024". The Monroe County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities. Labor, materials and equipment to install a white TPO retrofit roof system as follows:
1. Install wood blocking at the perimeter to properly attach edge metal.
2. Install polyisocyanurate flute filler insulation between major ribs of the metal roof panels.
3. Mechanically fasten one (1) layer of 1" polyisocyanurate over the flute filler.
4. Mechanically attach a 60 mil white TPO roof system with required flashings.
5. Terminate the TPO roof membrane with eave metal.
6. Furnish manufacturer's 15 year standard warranty.
7. Furnish contractor's two (2) year warranty. Labor, materials and equipment to install an EPDM gutter lining on the above project as follows:
1. Prepare valley gutter as required to receive new membrane liner.
2. Line each 80 l.f. gutter with 60 mil EPDM rubber, terminate on sides under metal roofing panel
with termination bar.
3. Flash new EPDM membrane into existing outlet tubes.
