Renovation of a multi-residential development in Chester Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

William Penn Homes Roof Replacement Bidders Are Required to Provide Bid Security in an Amount Equal to 5% of the Total Amount Bid. Bid Security May Be Provided in the Form of a Certified Check or a Bid Bond Issued by a Surety Company Licensed to Transact Such Business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Upon Award of a Contract, the Successful Bidder Shall Provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Payment Bond, Each in the Amount of 100% of the Awarded Contract Value. Upon Completion of The Contract, the Successful Bidder Shall Provide a 2-year Maintenance Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Final Contract Value. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Davis Bacon Labor Standards, Including the Payment of Prevailing Wages Where Applicable. The Initial Contract Award Amount for Fixed Fee Contracts or 1/6% (0.00166) of the Expected Contract Value for Term Contracts and Will Be Invoiced by Pennbid to the Successful Bidder Upon Award of a Contract by the Local Contracting Unit. The Minimum Fee is Set at $100.00 and the Maximum Fee is Capped at $5,000.00. 1. Demolition of Existing Roof a. Remove and properly dispose of all existing roofing, underlayment materials, and existing roof sheathing. Demolition shall include existing drip edge, flashing materials, pipe collars and all penetration flashing. Work shall include all roof areas for each building. 2. Roof Sheathing a. Furnish and install new roof sheathing on the entirety of the 18 buildings located in the William Penn Homes Community. Work shall include all existing roof areas for each building. b. New roof sheathing shall be 5/8” thick plywood. 3. Asphalt Shingle Roofing a. Furnish and install complete asphalt shingle roofing system for all 18 buildings in the William Penn Homes Community. Work shall include all roof ares for each building. b. Install new underlayment, aluminum drip edge, aluminum vent collars and aluminum flashing (as necessary). Waterproof underlayment shall be used at all eaves and valleys, in accordance with Section 07310 and the project plans.
