Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Vienna, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of May 14, 2024, the project was awarded to Clemens Excavating Co for a total of $262,901.60 (base: $218,409.60, alternate: $44,492.00).** Pulverizing/Milling and reshaping approximately 1,300 linear feet of roadway. Installation of 800 feet of curb & gutter, 367 feet of storm sewer/culverts, 4 storm inlets, shouldering, ditching, excavation, restoration, and erosion control. The Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute the project contract. The bid bond will be returned to the bidder once the contract has been signed. The Town of Vienna reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicality and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the time set for bid opening. Est. Completion Date: Aug. 23, 2024 Question Deadline 03/28/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing.
