Construction Manager at Risk Construction of a New Cosmetology Building. Description of Work: This Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) would be responsible for overseeing construction projects at Eastern Arizona College. The project would involve the construction of a new Cosmetology building. Eastern Arizona College retains the right to reject any and all bids, as well as to waive minor irregularities and informalities contained therein. Furthermore, the college reserves the right to award the contract to the bidder who is both the lowest in cost and demonstrates the highest level of responsiveness and responsibility. GENERAL INFORMATION It is Eastern Arizona College’s intent to provide a new 15,300 sf cosmetology and 8,100 sf retail building adjacent to the existing college campus. The new buildings will consist of new classrooms and support spaces for the cosmetology program, new men and women’s restrooms, grey shell space for future tenants, and new parking lot and site improvements. The cosmetology program is expected to start in the fall semester of 2025. The estimated cost of construction will be $10 million.
