Gadsden State Farmers Market New Warehouse Facility. The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services issues this Request for Statement of Qualifications to obtain the professional design and engineering services of an Architect/Engineer to design plans, specifications, provide bid support, and construction administration services for the proposed Gadsden New Warehouse Facility at the Gadsden County State Farmers Market, located at 18212 Blue Star Highway, Quincy, Florida 32351. This request for SOQ proposals is intended to address scope of work objectives relating to architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical systems engineering. Upon selection of the awarded firm, a design services proposal will be requested to complete all scope objectives for execution as a single project. Existing conditions must be surveyed to facilitate development of design plans, drawings, and specifications that will be utilized for bidding, permitting and construction. The project scope, for which professional design and engineering services are required, is as follows. The Department reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, when such rejection is in the interest of the state of Florida, and to reject the proposal of a vendor who the Department determines is not in a position to perform the contract.
